The Overcoming Mindset

Choice kingdom greetings to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ our soon coming King. I trust that this message will reach you prospering in the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. I am back in Australia again. I went into Asia (Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippine). It was a fruitful ministry trip up there, and I trust to return again soon to continue to build and develop relationships that will advance the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

While in the flight from Manila, Philippines to Singapore enroute to Australia, I felt the Lord stirring my heart to pen this down. It was so strong upon me, and I knew there must be some activation and empowering that has to take place. Our ministry focus within the Body of Christ in the nations must take a change. Though I am going to put this online our ministry website (www.wvcom-international.org) for those who may be interested to connect with it by their own personal choice, but I have taken the liberty to only send this message to those who are connected with us for purpose and for God s kingdom advancement.

I trust in your understanding and maturity to be able to see, discern and receive this word from a Kingdom point of view. (It is not written for the purpose of getting anything from you, or to promote the perverted prosperity message We have long discovered that God is our Source and we live this). I was born and raised in Nigeria (West Africa) which has a population of about 140 million people, where it is officially recorded that over 70 million Nigerians are in poverty, as more than 50 percent of the people in Sub-Saharan still survive on less than $1.00 per day.

I understand the impact and negative effect as I grew out of this; but I never allowed this to affect my mentality or the integrity of the gospel I have come to believe and preach. By the grace of God, I am living above this because of an overcoming mindset in Christ. I am trusting that many will walk in this dimension. Over the years, as I labor within the nations, I am always disappointed with the attitude of leaders with their beggarlymentality and inability to minister to sent ones.

It is not because we need their money or material possessions, but because it is a scriptural principle for the people to be able to receive the impartation of what the Lord is bringing upon them. It is sad to say that the leaders from Western Nations has greatly contributed to this within the developing nations, because they have made the people to become beggars, to always depend on them for bread and for control. They have not taught and given the people the opportunity to learn the culture of ministering out of their substance to sent ones, rather than waiting to always receive. For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn.

Doth God take care for oxen? Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? If other be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel (1 Corinthians 9: 9 14). We do not preach the gospel of Christ with charge, and thereby abuse our power in the gospel (1 Corinthians 9:17-18), but we advocate that the leaders must develop an overcoming mindset to become givers, rather than beggars (Acts 20:25).

I have committed myself to always sow into other ministries that are sent to us or into the nations. No matter how small the gift may be, but the Lord knows our heart that we have committed our best at that time. We cannot receive any ministry without sowing back to them after receiving from the grace of God upon their lives. Even if we cannot afford to cover for their return flight tickets, we must provide for their food, accommodation and bless them with an honorarium. This must be the culture of those who come into relationship with us, or those we go and minister to in the nations.

If those we minister to at home or in the nations cannot receive and practice this principle, then ministry becomes a curse to them rather than being a blessing upon them. The difference between the rich and the average is not necessarily in what they possess, but it is primarily the way they think. The mind makes the difference is their way of living. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: (Proverbs 23:7). There is a big contrast in the mindset of the rich and average. We must understand that we have been made rich in Christ and we must walk in this mindset of the rich as our heritage. For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor so that ye through his povertymight be rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9).

The Rich (Overcoming) Mindset The Poor Mindset They Are Productive They Are Consumers They Think Investment They Think Savings They Are Givers They Are Beggars (They East their Seeds) They Are Independent They Are Dependent (Do not trust in men as their source) (Men are their Source) » We must have a creative mindset to develop the Body of Christ through Market Place Ministry and CommunityDevelopment . This is howwe can be productive. » As Sons of the Kingdom, we must have an overcoming mindset of investing in the purposes of God for Kingdom advancement. »The Poor Mindset of being dependent causes us to put our confidence on men as our source and as a result we are willing to sell our birthrights for any piece of bread.

This causes the lost of God s purpose and vision for our lives, and it makes ministry to become frustrating. It brings offence; It causes disappointments; It affects our ability to receive God s intended blessings upon our lives and ministry in all areas (spiritually, materially, socially, economically and financially). We become unfruitful and barren. We curse the Sent Ones and reject their message We end up bringing damnation upon ourselves.

The key challenge we face in the Body of Christ today is our ability to shift our paradigm from our old ways of thinking into a new and living way. There is constantly the old ways which are traditional, warring against the new law of our mind that is Kingdom. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringingme into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members (Romans 7:22-23). This is why the leaders of Jesus day could not receive the gospel of the Kingdom unless they REPENT . (Mathew 4:17; Mark 1:15). We can never enter into a Kingdom dimension of living unless we become born again This experience changes our perspective.

This is why the scripture says, we have the mind of Christ. It is a winning and overcoming mind. To repent (GK: is to think differently or afterwards, that is, reconsider. We must allow the Holy Spirit to engage our mind (Ephesians 4:23). » The principle of The Set Man and The Power of the Word must be realized. This is what makes the difference between God s Blessing which comes upon all by their labour, and The Father s Blessing that only comes on legitimate Sons who are in the right position and relationship with the Set Man that God places over their lives. It is like the blessing upon Jacob and Esau. Both were blessed, but Esau s life and blessing is to come and be preserved by his strength through his sword (Genesis 27:38-40). Jacob s blessing was that of favour and he was preserved not by his strength (Genesis 27:26-29, 37). The Blessing of the Father will be imparted as an inheritance upon those who are in right relationships. They are to operate under the favour of God.

Prayers: In Jesus Name, I speak a release upon the Body of Christ that a quickening will come upon our heart and our spirit will become willing to act now upon the promises of HisWord. I declare a breakthrough for a paradigm shift and for an overcoming mindset upon you, and the work the Lord has put under your oversight as steward of His purpose. Be blessed in Jesus Name. Amen!
